Always easier said than done, but it’s a start

Remember this post? It’s been a little under two weeks and I can say that I’ve started to make little changes to my life, but nothing overly significant. That’s probably best though, right? Too much too quickly and it’s probably easier to get burned out. A gradual approach is probably best. (I also said probably a lot in this paragraph because I’m very unsure of everything and am trying to pretend I know what I’m doing.)

Since my original post, I received so many awesome emails, texts, tweets, comments, and direct messages with words of encouragement, tips, suggestions, etc. It was incredible, and I’m still responding back to all the emails (so if you emailed me, I will get back to you! I promise!).

I’ve already taken some of the tips and ideas into account and are trying them, with plans to implement others soon. For example, a good friend gave me an amazing rundown of how to count macros and I’ve been starting to dive into that. I had been a little swamped with National Signing Day to give it my full attention though, so I’ll be reading into it more in the coming days.

Other than that, people told me to take Vitamin D (you need more in the winter!), drink more water, buy a few new pieces to work out in, etc. It was seriously helpful stuff, and I appreciate the time many took to help out.

So without further adieu, here’s what I’ve been up to so far:

So, that’s where I’m at. Little changes that will hopefully pay off in the end. I need to start adding in a more regular workout routine (and I did receive suggestions on that, woo!) and will get there. Baby steps, right?

If you have other suggestions or are working on your health too and just want to chat,  email metweet at me, or leave a comment below. You can even DM me on Instagram.

And with that, I’ll leave you with the quote on one of my recent Care/Of packs. Cheers!

Erin
