I’m going to be honest with y’all: I have very little motivation lately when it comes to working out and eating healthy. It’s bad. And I mean really bad.
It’s been especially difficult because I’m a pretty active person overall (or so I tell myself). I’ve run multiple half-marathons and other races. I like how I feel after I work out or run, or even go for a walk with my dog. Yet, here I am. Still not motivated.
And I’ve been kind to myself on this whole thing. I’m currently undergoing procedures that have required surgeries and doctors appointments since late last November. Add winter on top of it and my motivation is basically this:
And I know what I need to do. I KNOW. Yet I can’t motivate myself.
Help me.
No, but seriously. Help me.
What do you do to get motivated? How do you beat the winter blues? How do you get out of a slump? I need your input. All of it.
